For trucks with 2013+ engines, we connect to your truck's diagnostic port, read emissions data, and transmit results directly to CARB's CTC-VIS database. Includes full OBD scan, real-time upload, compliance certificate on-site, and ~30 min service. $80 per truck.
OVI Testing — Opacity/Smoke (2012 & Older Engines)
For trucks with pre-2013 engines, CARB requires an Opacity/Visual Inspection (OVI) test. Not many testers offer OVI testing — we're one of the few who do. We use calibrated opacity meters to ensure accurate readings. Includes professional opacity measurement, CTC-VIS upload, compliance certificate, and ~1 hour on-site service. $200 per truck.
